The new Digital Manufacturing Trends for Q3-2018 has been released, you can check it out here . Spring has brought about a drastic change to the data, with the beginning of a new financial year and the end of the academic year. Engineers are starting new projects and students are finishing their final year projects.
Since Q1-2018 three areas of data are omitted which can still be found below. The reason for this change is down to the Protolabs Network waiting list being introduced to help balance supply and demand geographically. This waiting list has meant a slow down in new printers added making categories such as Trending Printers, Printer Model distribution and Printer Manufacturer distribution less relevant. We understand that this information for some is still interesting so we've made sure to publish it here.
